X (Twitter) Video Downloader — Original Quality

X (formerly Twitter) has no built-in way to save a video. You can like it, bookmark it, or retweet it, but there is no download option — and bookmarks disappear the moment the original poster deletes the tweet or their account. That is why a huge amount of great X video (news clips, sports moments, viral edits) is effectively unsaveable through the app itself.

Pasting the tweet link into dOwner gives you the actual MP4. For videos, X stores several bitrates and we always pick the highest, so you get the sharpest version rather than the low-res preview that plays in-feed.

X posts mix media types, and each is handled correctly:

• Videos — saved as MP4 at the highest available quality
• GIFs — X stores these as silent MP4 loops; you get the same clean file
• Photos — saved at full "orig" resolution, not the compressed timeline version
• Multi-photo tweets — every image (up to four per tweet) is shown separately to save individually

When a tweet has both a photo and a video, dOwner shows the best video as a preview card right next to the photos so you can grab whichever you actually want.

X changes its platform often, and those changes occasionally break third-party access for a day or two until tools adapt. If a download fails, it is usually a temporary platform change or a private/protected account — protected tweets can never be saved by any tool. Public posts are back to working as soon as the change is handled.
